These are the lyrics to a song by Switchfoot called "Meant To live". I think alot of us can relate to these lyrics, not that I can myself right at the moment because I've having a totaly different problem, but yea. What do they mean to you? Please comment.
Fumbling his confidence
And wond’ring why the world has passed him by
Hoping that he’s meant for more than arguments
And failed attempts to fly, fly
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Dreaming about providence
And whether mice or men have second tries
Maybe we’ve been livin with our eyes half open
Maybe we’re bent and broken, broken
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
We want more than this world’s got to offer
We want more than this world’s got to offer
We want more than the wars of our fathers
And everything inside screams for second life
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live
We were meant to live

I LOVE this song.
i love it too. Can you relate to it at all?
No. I just like the guitar.
Do you play?
A bit. I do more piano but it's been forever since I've played either of them because A. I don't have a teacher and B. My Piano's out of tune so when I try to play a song I'm like, 'that sounds horrible. I'm going to stop playing before I really feel like an idiot.'
ha ha i like playing the guitar and i only play the piano when i can find something that i want to sing and play at the same time but most of the time i can just do that with my guitar so it's all good :D
